Maribel grew in Virginia together with her parents but there are few details regarding the family. In her early years Maribel aspired to become the next lawyer, and she aimed to pursue a career within the legal field. After high school graduation in the year 1819, she attended at the University of Virginia, where she earned a degree with a concentration in German and Foreign Policy. Thomas Jefferson, an author of the Declaration of Independence, founded the school in 1819. In Jefferson's Academical Village a UNESCO World Heritage Site is situated, at the moment, the school offers over a dozen programmes. The central campus of the University sits in the area of 1,600 acres and there are thousands more acres in its research parks, as well as its farm. Maribel studied for her Juris Doctor at New York Law School following graduation from the bachelor's program. Maribel Aber NYLS in a law school that is known by its prominent faculty.
