Suzy Kolber was born Suzanne Lisa Kolber on May 14 1964 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to a Jewish family. Suzy Kolber, who is now around 58. Sandra Kolber, her mother was her name. Gene Kolber, is her father. She was educated at Sandy Run Middle School Dresher Pennsylvania. In 1986, she received a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in telecommunications from the University of Miami. She landed a job as an athletic director for Dynamic Cable in Coral Gables Florida while she was still an undergraduate college student. Aside from that, she also worked at Dynamic Cable for two additional seasons between 1984 and 1986. Additionally, she was a part of the University of Miami water skiing team in this period. Plaza was a part of Wilmington's community theater, acting as director and directing one-act shows. After graduation from high-school, she moved into New York City and began learning improv in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. The Tisch School of the Arts at New York University she studied the film and television production. Her aphasia diagnosis was discovered at age 20. It is a temporary defect that affects the ability to communicate and comprehend language.
